Truck driver is a sought-after profession that requires more than just basic driving skills. Drivers must participate in loading and unloading, be able to troubleshoot malfunctions, carry accompanying documentation, and much more. A driver who has obtained a license in Russia, Ukraine, or Belarus, even with extensive driving experience, cannot find employment in EU countries. To do so, they must complete Code 95 training. This is a mandatory process that has been established by law since 2009.
Drivers must undergo periodic training every five years. This training culminates in the issuance of a professional qualification certificate. The document is intended for professional long-distance drivers who obtained a category C or C1 license before September 10, 2009, or a category D or D1 license before September 10, 2008, as well as for those who have already obtained a certificate and wish to extend its validity. During the training period, you must pass a medical examination and a psychological test for code 95.
To complete the training, participation in a five-day course is required, with topics that may be listed depending on the driver’s responsibilities.
They are conducted in the form of lectures and cover various issues:
Training does not end with a state exam. This rule applies only to those who take a short course. For the long course, the training period is set at one month. If the student is under 21 years of age, they are required to study twice as long. Also, professional drivers who obtained their licenses after 2009 are required to take the long course, which ends with exams.
To complete the training, you must pass medical and psychological tests. This is a mandatory procedure for all long-distance truck drivers. For drivers aged 60, the tests are valid for 30 months. Then, after making the appropriate decisions, you can contact the communications department, where you will be issued a new code 95.
Psychological tests for drivers in Poland are designed by specialists who can create a detailed picture of a person’s condition through several questions. For an adequate driver with stable mental health, it will not be difficult to answer them.

The first block includes simple introductory questions such as: year of birth, place of birth, marital status, desired workplace in Poland, etc. Everyone can handle this part of the questions.

The next set consists of tests that must be answered only negatively or affirmatively. Most questions have no special value for the psychologist; they are designed to dull a person’s attention so that they truthfully answer the tricky propositions.

The third part is designed to check the driver’s attention. A table is displayed on the screen with numbers written in squares. You need to arrange them so that all numbers correspond to the cell numbering. Here’s one piece of advice – don’t rush. You will have plenty of time, and if you don’t hurry, you can easily handle the test.

The final block checks reaction speed and intellectual abilities. Foreign citizens are offered a different test from Polish drivers. This is due to language barriers. As «Mark’s Driving School» shows, all students easily pass the tests and receive a Code 95 certificate after completing the course.
