Long-haul drivers working in EU countries must obtain a special Code 95 certificate.
It is issued to drivers with category B, C, and E licenses. The traffic police strictly monitor compliance with all requirements and regulations, so it is essential for truck drivers to have all valid documents.

Please note that the exam is only taken at the end of the long course. There is no exam at the end of the short course.
It is important to note that the difficulty of the exam may vary depending on your level of experience and prior training. If you have experience driving trucks and already possess certain skills, this will make the exam process much easier.
How to obtain Code 95
For drivers from Ukraine and Belarus, there is difficulty in obtaining good employment in Europe due to the lack of an appropriate certificate. It must be obtained after completing courses. These are conducted in many schools in European countries. However, training is conducted in English and is expensive for our citizens.
To take the course, it is better to choose a company in Poland. The country is more loyal to our citizens, offering favorable conditions for cooperation. In addition, the exams and training are conducted in Russian, which greatly simplifies the process. The cost of the short and long courses varies, but it is lower than in other countries. The company issues a legal Code 95 certificate, which you can safely present to the traffic police.
Conditions for obtaining
If you plan to study in Poland, you must understand the rules applicable to non-residents. To become a driver with category “C” and “CE” licenses, you must be over 21 years old. To obtain Code 95, those who have not reached this age will have to study longer and pay more. Exams must be taken for the first time. Medical examinations and psychological tests are conducted more frequently than courses.
The training program includes:
- theory;
- practice;
- working with tachograph;
- simulator driving;
- opportunity to learn loading and unloading;
- performing minor repairs;
- using a driver chip card;
- paying for roads;
- calculating rest and work hours.
Our school employs instructors with extensive experience and seniority. Truck driving skills are practiced on a tractor with a semi-trailer covered with a tarpaulin. Practical classes begin at the training ground and then move on to real road conditions.
Training proceeds identically at the initial stage for passenger and freight transport drivers. Lectures cover the profession and its features, then knowledge useful for work is acquired. To consolidate the material, an exam must be taken. It consists of simple test answers, logic blocks, and subject comprehension.
Exam for CODE-95
Taking the exam is only provided after completing the long training course
The exam is taken at WORD (Regional Traffic Control Center).
To register for the exam, you must appear at WORD after completing training with your passport, driver’s license, and PKZ.
The exam costs PLN 50. A retake costs PLN 50.
The Code 95 exam in Poland includes only the theoretical part.
The exam consists of 30 questions divided into 2 tickets.
First ticket: 20 questions, with 4 mistakes allowed.
Second ticket: 10 questions, with 5 mistakes allowed.
The exam is taken in Russian, but you can also choose Polish or English.
The exam can be taken in any city; it does not have to be the Warsaw WORD.
The basis for admission to the exam is the completion of the training program at our driving school. During lectures, we analyze exam tickets in detail, and there is also an on-line platform where you can study the tickets on your own.
Exam preparation for Code 95 includes studying traffic rules, technical aspects of truck driving, road safety, and compliance with work and rest schedules.
According to driving school statistics, the first-time exam pass rate is approximately 94%.
